Asia has played an important role in the global creative economy for the past 10 years and it will continue to be so if not more.

CreativeAsia interested in encouraging the creative traffic in and out the Asia region. We aim to provide a knowledge base for creative entrepreneurs, practioners, policy makers, academics who are interested in the creative development in Asia. We help people outside Asia to understand how creative industries work in places such as China and Japan by connecting them with the local resources. This varies from government organizations, public infrastructures, local agencies to local creative communities. We can do this because we understand how difficult it can be for a creative creator/producer to enter a foreign market. Unlike conventional businesses, local know-how is more important than anything else for creative businesses. Knowledge exchange among creatives leads to exciting aesthetic outcomes. We believe such communication of ideas should not be hindered by the lack of insiders’ knowledges.
